Odoms Out - Minor In, Other Injury News

Here's the official injury report released by the university for the Purdue game.

OUT
  • C David Molk, knee (out for season)
  • WR Martavious Odoms, knee
QUESTIONABLE (50 percent chance of playing)
  • DT Greg Banks, foot
PROBABLE (75 percent chance of playing)
  • Zac Johnson, shoulder
Not sure how much weight I put on these official releases, as they seem to be wildly off sometimes. Obviously, we knew about Molk. Odoms we'd heard he had been practicing, but we didn't know how much. I thought he'd probably be at least 50/50 as he made the trip to Champaign last week, but did not play.

Greg Banks is making his first debut on the injury report. Obviously losing a defensive tackle is not good with how thin we are up front. So hopefully he'll be a go.

One glaring omission from the list is Brandon Minor. Coaches have talked all season about how hobbled he is with a lingering ankle sprain. So either he's 100%, or the coaches just didn't feel like adding him to the "probable" list.

Also not on the list is Tate Forcier. Not as big of a surprise as Minor, as we've been hearing for a while now that his shoulder is improving steadily.
