Blog Fight!

What do you get when you have a long grueling off-season, two bloggers from rival schools and a junior QB who's hype machine is running in overdrive?

Blog Fight!

In one corner, Black Shoe Diaries, SB Nation's Penn State blog. In the other corner, The Buckeye Battle Cry, a tOSU blog that always seems to find itself in these kinds of situations.

Here's how it went down...

Doing a Big Ten Media Days wrap up post, BSD said this about the 2010 Big Ten offensive player of the year:
At what point is Terrelle Pryor going to live up to his hype and actually, like, win something on the field? And no, beating Oregon in the Rose Bowl does not count.
Fighting words? Maybe to a tOSU blogger. But it could be a valid argument. As BSD points out, Pryor was 10th in the Big Ten last year in passing and 8th in passing efficiency. Not exactly numbers worth garnering the pre-season offensive player of the year award...but that's not why we're here.

tBBC clearly took issue with the line, and responded with a shot directly over BSD's bow.
The Lil’ Old Nittanies have their panties in a wad again today….

They’ve decided over there that they’re not getting the attention that they deserve, so they’ve reverted back to their infantile default-mode of picking on Terrelle Pryor.

The boys over at Black Shoe Diaries need to have their adult diapers changed.  Much like their head coach.
Easy there skippy. If anyone is being infantile here, it's clearly not BSD. Terrelle Pryor may be a decent runner, but as a passer, he's clearly overrated. That's not default-mode, it's real honest to goodness news commentary. It's what blogs do.

As a Michigan blog, watching the #3 and #4 teams in the Big Ten (in total wins) take swings at each other, it's fun to sit back and watch it all go down. Keep em comin' tBBC!
