• If Michigan is going to make it to Indy on December 1st, they're going to need some help. Nebraska hosts Penn State this weekend, Minnesota next, and then travels to Iowa for the finale the day after Thanksgiving. Two legit shots at losses there.

• Michigan State was the recipient of some very questionable calls on Saturday, which led to them losing in heartbreaking fashion yet again, this time to Legends front-runner Nebraska. That drops MSU to 5-5 with only Northwestern and at Minnesota left after this week off.

• These bowl projections could very well be how things play out should at least 8 teams from the B1G become bowl eligible...which might be a bit of a stretch at this point with three weeks left in the regular season. Ohio State and Penn State not being bowl eligible but still beating up the rest of the conference has really made a mess of things.

• I think Indiana is becoming less of "The Little Engine That Could" and more like a realistic contender in the Leaders division. If they're going to pull that rabbit out of a hat, it's going to have to happen this weekend when they host Wisconsin. I think we're all Hoosier fans this weekend.
