Rankings are determined before each week's games.

The upper crust
No change among the league's top contenders as Michigan State, Ohio State and Nebraska all rolled while Wisconsin was bye.

The contenders
Minnesota, who was said needed wins last week (Purdue) and this week (@Illinois) before their schedule toughens up considerably, squeaked by Purdue 39-38. Maryland got past Iowa to keep their hopes alive. Their trip to Wisconsin this week should be a pretty good game. Iowa, Rutgers and Northwestern remain in our rankings because, honestly, no one is pushing them out of the way.

Everyone else
Michigan plays Michigan State. Penn State plays Ohio State. A win by either will usher them right back into this list and really shake up things atop the B1G east. Raise you're hand if you see any of that happening.
