Michigan picked up it's 3rd commitment today of the 2012 class. Brady Hoke went deep into the heart of Ohio for another recruit, this time came home with a commit from 4-star MLB Kaleb Ringer. Some of you may remember his uncle Javon Ringer, a RB for Sparty a few years back.

The recruiting sites disagree, but some have reported offers from Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisville Kent State, Miami-OH, Syracuse, Toledo and West Virginia. While there was also reported interest from Sparty, tOSU, Pitt, UCLA and USC.

This is a great pickup for Hoke, Mattison and Michigan. MSU was hoping to play the insider card with his uncle, and tOSU might have or have not offered him, but clearly Ringer's visit to Michigan's junior day was what sealed the deal. Since then, Michigan was the one to beat for him.

This signals to me that the 2012 class is going to be filled with tons of potential. Two good OL commits and now a solid middle linebacker. Shows you that Hoke and company know where the holes are that are going to need to be filled in the next few years.

AND, it's always a great thing when we can snag one of Ohio's best right out from under their nose.
